Vienna Youth Lacrosse is a Vienna Youth Incorporated (VYI) sponsored sport. We participate in the Northern Virginia Youth Lacrosse League (NVYLL) in all girls and boys divisions in the spring.  The divisions for both Girls and Boys are U9, U11, U13 and U15. In 2009, we added a U17 division for boys.  Vienna also runs a house league for younger boys and girls. The NVYLL follows the USA High School Lacrosse Rules with a few exceptions. These exceptions can be found on the NVYLL website.

Vienna Youth Lacrosse is happy once again to provide the opportunity to rent lacrosse equipment to all players registered to play boys' lacrosse during the upcoming 2010 Spring season. 

All boys are required to play with the following:  lacrosse helmet; lacrosse shoulder/chest pads; elbow/arm pads; lacrosse gloves; athletic cup; mouth guard; lacrosse stick.  Players can rent a helmet, shoulder pads, arm pads, and gloves from Vienna Youth Lacrosse for the season for a $50 rental fee (plus a fully-refundable $150 security deposit, due at the time of the rental).  In addition, Vienna Youth Lacrosse has lacrosse sticks available for sale ($40 per stick) which can be purchased at the time of the equipment rental.

Rental sessions will be held at the VYI annex/equipment shed (behind the Vienna Community Center, 120 Cherry Street, SE, Vienna 22180).  Please contact Tom Hanton, VYL Equipment Manager, at , to make arrangements for your rental session.

 Please bring TWO checks with you - one for the rental fee, and one for the $150 equipment deposit.  You may pay the rental fee online before you pick up your rental equipment - if so, PLEASE bring a hard copy of your electronic receipt.  HOWEVER, you must still bring a deposit check to the annex when you go to pick up your rental equipment.  Deposit checks should be made out for $150 to VYI Lacrosse.  Deposit checks will be destroyed upon TIMELY return of your equipment.  EQUIPMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED WITHOUT A DEPOSIT CHECK - NO EXCEPTIONS.

 Please also be advised that your player MUST be in attendance at the rental session, so that he can be appropriately fitted for his equipment (especially his helmet and shoulder pads).  EQUIPMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED UNLESS THE PLAYER IS PRESENT TO BE PROPERLY FITTED.

 We will also be accepting equipment returns, for those families who are in possession of rental equipment, but do not have a player registered to participate in the '10 regular season.
